Jon Ochsner is a musician, sound engineer, and writer. He lives and works in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.
Jon holds a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a concentration in Inequality and Social Justice.
As a performing musician, Jon has played with dozens of great artists. A few include: All Young Girls Are Machine Guns, Anna McClellan, Centerpiece, The Hottman Sisters, Kait Berreckman, Michael Wunder, Muscle Cousins, Mushmouth, Those Far Out Arrows, Waning Gibbous, and Webb.
As a sound engineer, Jon has worked in a variety of club and studio settings. He worked as an intern at ARC studios in Omaha from 2016–2018 under Ben Brodin and Mike Mogis. He has also developed educational programming for beginning sound engineers.

Omaha Girls Rock – Gear committee member since 2019. Volunteer since 2015.
